XBox One... Eighty...

That didn't take long, did it?

Good thing I made my previous post when I did, otherwise people would think I am just nerd raging.

In a gloriously wise move, Microsoft has reversed all of their policies regarding their vision of tomorrow.  High fives all around, guys.

You can find the press releases, see the commentators reactions, the illogical berating, everything, everywhere on the internet, so I'm not going to start link dumping.  Google the shit.  Bing it.  Yahoo.  Fuck it, go Ask Jeeves.

I will say this, if you take the time to read the press release, and pay attention to what you are reading, you will sense a very strong vibe of "you forced my hand, and just remember it means you are losing these things as a result of this."  Cause you know, those things were totally important.

Those things you are losing is the cloud storing all the games you have bought, digital or otherwise, and freeing you from the ever oppressive burden of having to stand up and change a disc in a drive.  Because we all look like the people from Wall*E.

So, remember, while you can now play your xbone80 offline without having to tell mom that you are playing it, it means that you cant have access to your full game catalog anywhere in the known universe from any xbone80 system at any time.

But you can totally access your games anywhere at any time on any system, because all of the digital copies of games you bought are all still stored in the cloud so you can access them from any system you are logged in to and because these things exist...

Also, Xbox 180 isn't my creation.  Kudos to whoever came up with that one.

Shout out to Amazon, too.
